We've made a few changes to the filtering system in our mobiles and smartphones product survey. You can now filter the full range of mobiles tested on the site by their SAR level (strength of radiation emitted in the worst conditions of use), their weight and the number of pixels in the built-in camera.
So if you're looking for a mobile weighing under 150 g, with a camera of at least 5 Megapixels, a SAR level under 1 and a score of 4 or over, the list of products is quickly filtered down from 60 to 12. Still too many? Then set the score result to 5 stars and you'll be left with just 4 models to choose from, and even then, you'll have to ignore the Sony Ericsson Vivaz as it's a pre-release test model.
Note: once you've filtered the products, you can click on 'Permalink' to create a permanent web address for your search results. That means you won't have to enter you search criteria each and every time you want to view your selection.
