Test and analysis
We start with the 3D rendering software Maxon Cinema 4D, version R11.
The test was first carried out on our entry-level machine (32-bit), then on our high-end configuration (64-bit).
The test consists in rendering a very high resolution scene. Softening of the edges was also configured at a high setting so as to make the task more demanding.
On a small configuration, better to opt for a minimum of 3 GB to accelerate, a little, 3D rendering time.
On a high-end machine, the quantity of memory has hardly any effect on rendering time and it's only the processing unit (the processor here) that limits performance.
