What's with Google? Find Out How to Change it Back!

I had a bit of a shock when I opened up Google this morning ...


What's going on? What have they done? One of Google's main advantages was the simplicity of its design and layout.

Well fear not! Just look in the bottom left-hand corner of the homepage and you'll find a new link: Change Background Image.

When you click on the link, the following window opens.


Switch the gallery to Editor's picks and then scroll right the way to the bottom, where those of you who don't like change will find the original white background. Phew!

Those of you who do like change are obviously free to select the picture of their choice.

Note that you have to be signed into Google to see custom background images.
