VOD on the Wii as of May 1st

In Japan and only in Japan for now, Nintendo is launching a video on demand channel for the Wii. Called Wii no Ma, this new functionality of the best selling consol in the world was announced at the end of last year..It will be accessible as of May 1st, with the price of films as yet unknown. Following in the steps of Sony and it’s Playstation range, Nintendo has planned to offer functionalities on both the Wii and the DSi, the Nintendo portable console, for this VOD service.
Wii no Ma will be managed for Nintendo by the communications group Dentsu.
