Sony has decided to go after ordinary consumers by re-configuring one of its professional projectors as the VPL-BW7, an entry-level Home Cinema projector. 

The manufacturer claims the new projector has been 'designed for use in brightly lit environments.'  That's certainly an interesting idea, but what impact does it have on image quality?
