With the stunning progress made by cameras that can shoot video, do you still really need to have a separate camcorder?It's a question that's worth asking again now that high definition quality is no longer reserved for SLRs, but also available on compact digital cameras. One such example is the Panasonic DMC-TZ7, which arrived last spring with a 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) video mode.
We took one out for the day to see if it can keep up with real camcorders.
