LaCie returns to our USB product survey with a new imitation of a door key. After the Cookey - round -, the Iamakey - rectangular -, here is the triangular WhizKey. You’re now spoiled for choice – whichever goes best with your keyring.
The Whizkey is available in 4, 8, 16 and 32 GB versions.

Rectangular (IamaKey), Round (CooKey), or Triangular (WhizKey),
LaCie’s keys come in all shapes.
Overall performance identical to other LaCie ''Keys''
Like the others in the series, the WhizKey offers good read performance with an average of around 26.5 MB/s. Unfortunately, like the other ''Keys'', writes are disappointing, maxing out at 3.9 MB/s. 35 minutes for our test sample of 8 GB. A long time!
