The Nielsen Institute has just published its estimations on US market share for August. The Microsoft search engine is reported to be up to 13.9%, ahead of Yahoo which drops to 13.1%.Google still thrones on high with 65.1% with little change, Bing's gains coming mostly at Yahoo's expense.
This was doubtless the last month of competition between the two as Yahoo US integrated the Bing engine at the end of August. This migration will take two years in the rest of the world.
