Before the arrival of the next LG TV and the much anticipated giant screen, the 56 inch 56PFL9954H, we are adding two Philips models and one Medion to our product survey.- Philips 42PFL5604H: although it comes with a Full HD panel and a TNT HD tuner, this TV is not competition for the current top performers but positioned an extra TV or for those looking for a budget model. It has none of the latest technologies (fluidification of movements, 100 or 200 Hz, DLNA network compatibility or Ambilight). Let’s see how it compares
- Philips 32PFL9604H: with its PFL9604H series, Philips is aiming for the top of the range and has equipped its TV with the complete set of features at its disposal: 100 Hz to limit ghosting, HD Natural Motion for increased fluidity, Ethernet for access to computer files, new remote… the Dutch manufacturer has thrown in all the know-how it possessess. It is only available as a 32 or 37 inch however.
- Medion Life P13044 (MED20075) : this TV marks the return of small screens in our product surveys. In a sector that is increasingly ignored by the major brands, Medion is attempting to impose its Life P13034 (MD20075), a small 22 inch television with a resolution of 1680x1050 that could well limit its impact. But lets not judge it in theory, lets see how it does in its own right!
