This model is the 37 inch version of the 32 inch TV that we tested in our labs, the Toshiba Regza 32AV565DG.
Everything we said in the original article holds true--the only difference is that on a larger screen, the poor upscaling from SD sources that we mentioned may appear even worse, although we can't say for sure without a full test.
The components, both physical and electronic, are all identical to those found in the model we tested. The only factor which could be prone to slight variation is the brightness, producing slightly different contrast. According to our own tests, and assurances from the manufacturer, the results of one TV can accurately be applied to others in the range at different sizes.
Pluses
Minuses
Given the amount of problems you have to fix yourself, and then all the other smaller defects (poor sound, problems connecting to a PC, shoddy upscaling of SD sources ...), the AV565DG really is a very poor TV.
