Conclusion

The UE39F5500 is the 39" version of the Samsung UE42F5500, which we tested at Boulanger and reviewed in full. With the F5500 Series, you get a lot of features for a reasonable price. The media player reads lots of file types and we love Samsung's connected services, which we feel are a notch above the competition. The picture quality is satisfactory, with good contrast and faithful colours... but only if you're sitting directly in front of it, because the viewing angles are extremely narrow.
