With a PC

No particular problem to report concerning the connection of the PFL9703H to a PC in HDMI. The image is well framed, without the degradation of text and there is a correct 1:1 ratio.
This television is the 47’’ version of the 42’’ which we tested, the 42PFL9703H.
Characteristics, the panel and circuitry are identical and only brightness may vary slightly which minimally affects contrast. According to manufacturers (and our tests confirm), results from one diagonal size can easily be extrapolated to identical models of bigger or smaller sizes.
Pluses
-
HD compatible digital TV tuner
-
Nice sound quality
-
Ambilight system
Minuses
-
Gamma correction cannot be deactivated
-
Weak real contrast
-
Lack of depth in black
The PFL9703H does produce nice images; however, it mainly suffers from its dynamic gamma correction that cannot be deactivated and black that could be deeper.
