With a PC

Everything is just right here. The 1920x1080 image in HDMI perfectly fits the television without any touch-ups or reframing. In addition, reactivity is very good and will enable 3D game lovers to fully take advantage of their PLF9603H as a monitor.

This TV is the 47 inch version of the 42 inch which we tested, the 42PFL9603H.  Its bigger diagonal size shouldn't hurt the display of SD sources so much because rescaling is of good quality.

Characteristics, the panel and circuitry are identical and only brightness may vary slightly which minimally affects contrast. According to manufacturers (and our tests confirm), results from one diagonal size can easily be extrapolated to identical models of bigger or smaller sizes.

The PFL9603H displays nice images but mainly suffers from dynamic modifications to the gamma curve which cannot be deactivated. Otherwise, blacks are a little to grayish.
