TV Review: LG LEX8: Best TV We've Ever Seen, But is it Just a Start?

We've just finished our review of a new TV from LG that we mentioned last month, and not just any TV. The new LG LEX8 is quite simply the best TV we've ever seen.

Its combination of an IPS display with 2160 separate LEDs produces spectacular results, with black levels so deep that they were off the scale, dynamic contrast that we're happy to recommend for once and the whole thing in a frame measuring just 8.8 mm from front to back.

LG's marketing department has dreamt up a host of names for the technology in this new TV, including Nano Full LED, TruMotion 400 Hz or Micro Pixel Control. If you get beyond the hype, you'll find some incredibly powerful hardware. And we were so excited that we forgot to mention that this TV also offers 3D!
