Conclusion
|
The VT30 is no better than the VT20: it still has a great picture in both 2D and 3D. But Panasonic has put a lot of work into making it look better, and it's certainly paid off. |
The Sony Bravia EX723 is an exceptional television. Inside its sleek design, it offers accurate colours and a HD picture that comes very close to perfection. But it's much more average in 3D, with very strong crosstalk meaning it loses a star. |
The HX923 is quite simply perfect when showing 2D content, reproducing colours accurately with excellent contrast. In fact, it's almost as impressive as a plasma TV, with wide viewing angles and a nice even display thanks to its Full LED backlighting. It's a shame we can't say the same about 3D, where there's too much crosstalk. We're more than happy to stick with the incredible performance in 2D. |
Like the GT30 before it, the Panasonic ST30 television produces a great quality picture. It's a great choice for Home Cinema fans with a tight budget. |
The Sharp LC-60LE636E is a good giant TV. It will be a big hit with most viewers, but real Home Cinema fans will probably prefer a plasma TV to avoid problems like clouding, an uneven performance across the whole surface of the screen and slightly disappointing viewing angles. |
