Conclusion
The Sony BX420 TV doesn't miss its fourth star by much. Despite a friendly price tag, it has a great picture quality with a high contrast ratio and accurate colour reproduction. The only real problems are the lack of a motion interpolation filter and a relatively unresponsive display.
The LG LM860V has loads of great features. It has a stylish design with a slim casing, as well as plenty of interesting functions and hardware. Plus, 3D image quality is almost flawless. In fact, this is one of the best TVs for 3D viewing out there right now. However, the general image calibration could be better and contrast is too low.
