Conclusion
The Toshiba Regza SL863 is quite simply an average television, and its competitors can do better for less.
While this TV was initially given a five-star review, we've since learned that a second version of the Philips PFL5507 is now being sold loaded with a different screen panel. Technology has been switched from UV²A to PVA in this new version, giving it lower contrast, slightly less impressive 3D and much more clouding.
