CES 2012: Sharp Presents Full LED Active 3D TV

Ahead of CES 2012, which opens today, Sharp has presented the LE945 TV with active-shutter 3D technology.

Sharp has announced a new series of TVs with Full LED backlighting. The LE945 will be available with a 60-inch screen (LC-60LE945) and a 70-inch screen (LC-70LE945), and both models use active shutter 3D technology. Sharp has loaded these TVs with an LCD Quattron screen (four red, blue, green and yellow sub-pixels) and a 200 Hz motion interpolation mode to keep fast-moving scenes looking smooth. Both models will also boast connected services.
