CES 2012: LG 84LM9600 84" 4K TV

Ahead of the official opening of the CES 2012 tech show today, LG has presented an 84-inch TV with 4K resolution.

LG gets ready to quadruple Full HD resolution!
 

The 84LM9600, unveiled yesterday, is a passive 3D TV with Quad HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution. Its 84-inch screen is certainly impressive, even it'll probably be a bit big for most living rooms. However, this TV is a demo model, designed to show off LG's technological prowess and to remind us that the firm is always innovating. It therefore won't be the first actual 4K TV we'll be able to buy on the high street.
