Transcend StoreJet 25M3 Shockproof USB 3.0 Hard Drive

Transcend has revealed a new shockproof USB 3.0 hard drive: the StoreJet 25M3!

This new portable hard drive has a USB 3.0 mode for data transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than with USB 2.0. It is, however, still compatible with USB 2.0, which is incredibly practical for use out and about. LEDs also let you know which port the drive's hooked up to, with orange for USB 2.0 and blue for USB 3.0.

Military-grade shock resistance

The StoreJet 25M3 has an incredibly robust casing to help limit vibrations and shocks that could damage the hard drive. Like other M-series drives, the StoreJet 25M3 has three protective layers. The first layer is a silicone shell that absorbs shocks, blows and vibrations. The second layer suspends the  drive within a tight protective bracket, and the third is a thick rubber case with a green stripe for extra protection and extra peace of mind. The StoreJet 25M3 is so tough it even complies with US military drop-test standards (MIL-STD-810F 516.5)!
 

The StoreJet 25M3 has a One Touch button for automatic backup or for synchronising files with your computer.

This portable external hard drive will be available with a capacity of 500 GB or 640 GB and is supplied with a 3-year warranty and StoreJet Elite 2.0 software.
