The video below is currently causing something of a stir on the web. It shows a three-year-old child playing Mirror's Edge and Portal, and making a pretty good job of it too. Neither game is known for its simplicity—in fact quite the opposite is true—but for this little guy they're literally child's play.

Given what this kid is already capable of, just imagine how hot the next generation of gamers is likely to be. We'll just have to console ourselves by lamenting that video games are just like A-Levels, and that in our day they were much harder!

On a more serious note, we'd like to point out that this kind of game is not aimed at young children. Mirror's Edge comes with a 16+ certificate and Portal has a 12+ certificate. We therefore don't recommend you let your own kids loose on this kind of game!
