This week's tests + last week's top fives: Sony NEX-5 Full Test

Sony is riding high again this week, with two of its new TVs, the HX703 and the EX503 comfortably taking first and second place respectively in our weekly classification.  That doesn't mean we're neglecting other types of products, though, and we're hard at work testing as many monitors, digital cameras and laptops as ever.

It seems that Sony will manage another large audience next week, though, with our full test of the NEX-5 arriving hot on the heels of our in-depth hands-on.

Reviews coming up this week

• Tuesday: this morning, we had a look at the new Sharp Quattron range of TVs, which add a yellow sub-pixel to the traditional red, green and blue.  After that, we looked at two new cameras in Panasonic's Micro Four-Thirds range, the G2 and the G10, which might look similar but are actually very different.

• Wednesday: will see two external hard drives, one from LaCie and the other from Verbatim, as well as a pair of MP3 players.

• Thursday: we'll be asking whether 'hybrid' cameras, which combine smaller bodies with interchangeable lenses (like Tuesday's Panasonic G2 and G10) can take over?  And after so much photography equipment, we'll also have something for your ears, with in-ear headphones from Panasonic and Creative. 

• Friday:  as ever, we'll end the week with a look at laptops, this time two Sony Vaio models.  LaCie will also make their second appearance in three days with a pair of media centres.

• Saturday: will be time for an update of our Buyer's Guides, with a look at the best GPS for the job.

• Monday: we'll be bringing you another one of our duels, this time putting two of the latest 3D TVs up against each other, one a Panasonic plasma, the other a Samsung LCD.

• Tuesday: we've already had a long look at Sony's new hybrid cameras (them again!), but we'll have our full, in-depth test of the Sony NEX-5.
