Last week, the Panasonic TX-50VT20, our first 3D plasma TV took second place to some old favourites, monitors from Acer, Samsung and LG, tests that you keep coming back to week after week. Our big round-up of waterproof compacts certainly bolstered the audience for our survey of point-and-shoot models of all descriptions, whether they're good for the pool or not.
The week ahead will be just as busy with plenty of interesting tests and reviews, and although our photography team will be taking something of a breather after bringing you six different waterproof cameras this afternoon, the same isn't true of everybody else, as you can see ...

Monday on DigitalVersus: our test of the Sony Bravia KDL-40EX500
Here's a quick reminder of our weekly plan so you know where you stand:
Mondays: displays, including monitors and TVs. Tuesdays: cameras, camcorders and peripherals. Wednesdays: hardware components and printers. Thursdays: mobiles, smartphones and audio equipment. Fridays: laptops, notebooks, buyer's guides. Saturdays and Sundays: insight and analysis.
- Tuesday: we started the week with a look at at a hotly-anticipated new camcorder, the Sony HDR-CX550, the first widely-available camcorder to come with a 29.8 mm wide-angle lens, something that's been available on still cameras for almost a year. Later on, we'll be continuing our AppZone series with iPhone apps to keep an eye on your health and wellbeing. If you missed them, you can check out our previous round-ups of classic games and apps to help you take a perfect photo.
- Wednesday: in the morning, we'll be looking at some Bluetooth headsets from Jabra and Opera, while in the afternoon, perhaps the Palm Pixi could be the perfect mobile phone to use with one?
- Thursday: today will see the tables turned: another Palm smartphone in the morning, the Palm Pre Plus, will be followed by some audio equipment in the afternoon, but this time we're testing some in-ear headphones. There's currently no news on which UK networks will pick up the Pre Plus, but its predecessor, the Pre, is available on O2 so there's a strong chance that the next version will follow suit.
- Friday: our regular end-of-the week laptop update will feature a trio of models from Asus, Samsung and Packard Bell, while we'll also be looking at another way of keeping a computer portable, with the Dell Zino HD.
- Monday: we've got the Sony EX500 TV that a lot of you have been asking about, along with the Acer H7350D projector ...
And that's not including a few surprises that might just pop up if you're lucky ...
