This week's tests + last week's top fives: FZ45, FZ100, Player Mini

Well, Photokina has been and gone, and we're somewhat disappointed by the fact that most of the big new camera launches were announced before the show.  That doesn't mean that news like the new Fuji X100 isn't exciting, but it does kill some of the suspense.  We'll have a full recap later on this week covering all of the new announcements.

Reviews coming up this week

• Monday: we started our week yesterday with a look at Panasonic's second 3D plasma TV, the GT20, adding the 2D to 3D conversion that was missing on the earlier VT20.
• Tuesday: we'll be reviewing the two new replacements for the same manufacturer's popular FZ38 bridge camera, the FZ45 and more advanced FZ100.

• Wednesday: we'll have AMD's latest two-, four- and six-core CPUs, as well as some more of the sound bars we started testing last week.

• Thursday: after looking at the gigantic Samsung Galaxy S a few weeks ago, we'll have our review of the smaller Player Mini, as well as a pair of laser printers.

• Friday:  as ever, we'll end the week with a look at laptops, featuring the Dell inspiron M101z this time round.
