This week's tests + last week's top fives: Alienware LCD, Acer mobile

Samsung's monitors represented three of our top five most widely-read reviews last week—so maybe it's a good thing we're diversifying our range of tests to include other manufacturers like Alienware, Asus and Iiyama in the coming weeks. 

Our biggest news this week is the arrival of our full review of Samsung's 15x compacts, the WB650 and WB600, which we first covered way back in January.

Reviews coming up this week:

• Tuesday: we first looked at the Samsung WB650 and WB600 a little while ago, but today see our full review of these compact cameras with 15x zoom lenses.  Later on we'll have an alternative to Mitsubishi's HC3800 projector, the more affordable HC3200.
  

• Wednesday: we'll be publishing our review of a pair of media centres that are more similar than you'd first think, as well as some hard drives from Western Digital.

• Thursday: our mobile review this week: the Acer beTouch 400.

• Friday: a busy day with three sets of tests, starting with a round-up of solar-powered products you can use while on holiday this summer, along with a review of an Acer Aspire laptop and a look into Sony's efforts to make its laptops even smaller.

• Saturday: our weekly update to our series of Buyer's Guide will cover MP3 players.

• Monday: as ever, we'll start the week with displays: one 42'' TV from LG and a gaming monitor from specialist manufacturer Alienware.
