Canon PowerShot G1 X review

Canon PowerShot G1X, up for review today

Here's a quick reminder of our weekly schedule so you know what to look out for:
Mondays: displays, including monitors and TVs. Tuesdays: cameras, camcorders and peripherals. Wednesdays: hardware components and printers. Thursdays: mobiles, smartphones and audio equipment. Fridays: laptops, notebooks, buyer's guides. Saturdays and Sundays: insight and analysis.

  • Wednesday: we'll be watching the Canon Pixma MG8250 and  HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-In-One do battle in a multifunction inkjet printer duel. Later, we'll be checking out MSI's WindPad 110 W tablet with Windows 7.
  • Thursday: we'll be bringing the cinema home with the Philips HTS7202 speakers, before reviewing the Samsung Wave 3 smartphone.
  • Friday: first up, we'll be reviewing the Asus X53TA laptop. Then, in the afternoon, we'll be finding out which 15" to 17" notebooks have the best-quality screens.
  • Sunday: we'll be updating our laptop and netbook buyer's guides.
