In the race to produce ever thinner phones, HTC is set to earn points with its HTC Ville (current codename).
Slim but strong, so the rumours on the HTC Ville go, supposedly running on Android 4, with a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and an 8 Mpixel sensor able to film in Full HD, the forthcoming HTC mega-AndroPhone could well look a bit like the photo of the phone posted on Pocketnow that you can see above.
The HTC Ville is reported to be just 8 mm thick, which would make it the thinnest smartphone in the world. It does of course remain to be seen if the competition won't have done better by the time the Ville comes out. For the moment, the rumours on the Internet are giving 2012 as the release date.
