With all of the attention heaped on the Apple iPad, it would be easy to forget that plenty of other manufacturers are gearing up to release their own tablet PCs. But The Sun thinks it's already found something that will stop the iPad dead in its tracks--before Steve Jobs' latest baby has even hit the shops. And it doesn't come from Amazon, Sony or HP, either …
Ever since Apple's announcement at the end of January, the fledgling market for e-book readers has been reacting to the arrival of the iPad: Amazon is working on the Kindle, Sony has created more versions of its Reader and several manufacturers have announced their intention to get involved with what could be a huge market.
Here in the office, there's a clear divide between those who think the iPad is going to be life-changing and others who can't wait to get their hands on it so they can really take it to pieces, but we think we've found something that everybody can agree on.
