Although Sony UK has confirmed that its tablets will be upgrading to the latest version of Google's tablet OS, the firm hasn't yet confirmed a date for the arrival of Ice Cream Sandwich. However, we reckon that Sony will be doing all it can to get the update rolled out as soon as possible, so as not to get pipped to the post by other tablet manufacturers. The update is therefore likely to go live by February 2012.

The Sony Tablet S is a classic touchscreen tablet with a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 1 GHz Tegra 2 processor and 1 GB of RAM. The Tablet P, on the other hand, packs the same basic components in to a fold-up tablet with two 5.5-inch screens.

The Tablet P was recently released in the UK and it'll be up for review soon on DigitalVersus.
