Today's touchscreen tablet, the Lexibook Tablet, is designed to please children under the age of 13/14. 

Above and beyond all the competition between Apple, Samsung, Asus, Sony, Archos and the rest, there’s a category of tablets, running on Android that, while often opportunistic, are also sometimes pertinent in terms of their positioning. The Lexibook Tablet is one such model: a 7-inch designed for children and running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

It also comes with a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of storage, a USB 2.0 port, educational applications, superhero videos, the Lexibook Market and a VOD portal for kids.
