As well as presenting the Nexus 4 smartphone and Nexus 10 tablet yesterday, Google also unveiled a couple of new versions of its Nexus 7 tablet. Again built by Asus, Google's latest Nexus 7 tablets get 32 GB of memory and 3G connectivity, all at a rock-bottom price.

The Google Nexus 7 is a 7" tablet with an IPS screen with 1280 x 800 pixels. It runs on a 1.3 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 1 GB of RAM. The tablet uses the Android 4.1 OS and its only connection is a micro USB port. Google has already outed 8 GB and 16 GB models, but is now due to expand the range with a 32 GB Nexus 7 and a 32 GB model with 3G.

But price is perhaps the biggest news here, as the 32 GB Nexus 7 is being outed at £200, while the 3G version will sell for just £240! With the 32 GB Nexus 7 edging dangerously close to the price tag of the 16 GB model, we can expect a price cut on the 16 GB Nexus 7.

We were pretty impressed with the Nexus 7 when we tested it, mainly thanks to its practical physical format, up-to-date Android and responsive interface. The new Nexus 7 tablets are due out in the UK as of today and will come pre-loaded with Android 4.2.
