Here's our detailed look at the Asus Eee Slate EP121, something of a concept device that's part tablet, part laptop.  It's running Windows 7 on the inside and has a stylus on the outside.

We were really impressed by the Asus EeePad Transformer, an Android Honeycomb tablet that comes with a dock connector which includes an extra battery and a full-size keyboard that adds a whole new dimension of mobility.  The Eee Slate is a very different concept, and Asus is using it to try out Windows 7 on a large, touch-sensitive display.

Basically, it's a 12.1'' tablet built from laptop components but with a gorgeous IPS screen instead of the bog standard TN display that's usually used for notebook computers

So, after the success of the Transformer, can Asus pull it off again?
