After months of feverish speculation, the iPad finally arrived in the UK last Friday.  But we've had one for a lot longer than that, so now it's actually on sale, we can tell you what we think of the 32 GB WiFi iPad after a month of intensive use.

But first of all, just what is this product that has garnered so much attention and had people queueing around the block at the apple Store?  Is it an oversized version of the iPhone or iPod Touch?  Or is it a miniature computer?  Is it just for online content, or could it guarantee the future of the newspaper?  Have netbook manufacturers got anything to fear?  After spending a month with our new iPad, we think we've seen enough to give you an honest evaluation of what it's like.
