Apple's iPad was the first tablet to offer screen resolution at Full HD or higher (2048 x 1536 pixels, to be precise). Asus and Acer have since followed suit with Full HD Android tablets—the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 and now the Acer Iconia Tab A700.

But if this "new" tablet looks rather familiar, that's because it's essentially an Acer Iconia Tab A510 loaded with a "Full HD" IPS screen with 1920 x 1200 pixels. Otherwise, the A700 has the same casing and components as the A510, with a 1.3 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and a 32 GB internal memory.

So what does Full HD bring to the Iconia Tab? Find out in our review.
