After bringing the story of Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, to the silver screen in The Social Network, Sony Pictures is now looking to tell the story of Apple's recently deceased co-founder.
Sony Pictures is currently negotiating to acquire rights to the only 'official' biography of Steve Jobs, written by Walter Isaacson, former managing editor of Time magazine. The biography, rather soberly titled Steve Jobs, is due for release in the US and the UK on 24 October 2011.
