Sony is updating its Micro Vault USB flash drives with a new range of P-series models, boasting storage capacities of up to 64 GB.

Sony may have recently halted production of MiniDiscs, but the firm is still going strong in the field of portable USB storage. The Japanese manufacturer is set to release a new range of Micro Vault P flash drives, which will initially launch in Asia-Pacific markets this month. This new range of USB keys will be available with capacities of 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB, but pricing is yet to be confirmed.

Sony's Micro Vault P flash drives have a 360° LED to show when the drive is in use. Plus, all the drives come with File Rescue software for recovering deleted files and X-Pic Story for a quick and easy way to create slideshows.

All of Sony's new USB keys have a subtle, understated design, and will be available in either black or white.
