Don't get your hopes up: it isn't the long hoped-for PlayStation 4. Instead, the new product is (yet another) new version of the PS3 Slim, this time with a 320 GB hard drive.  It's set to launch in Japan on June 30.

Although no mention of it was made at the E3 show, the second version of the PS3 Slim is set to arrive in Japan at the end of the month.

It's not very different from its big brother, weighing in at 2.6 kg compared to the 3 kg of the current PS3 Slim. It's also set to use less power, with a 200 W adaptor in place of the current 230 W.

There's no news on pricing, nor about whether Sony will include a HDMI cable, which it currently doesn't supply with its consoles.

The latest update should arrive on the US market soon, but there are no details yet about when it wil make it to Europe.
