Sony Cyber-shot HX9V Now Under £300

After being delayed by the catastrophic events in Japan earlier this year and then launching for almost £350, the HX9V has now been on the market for long enough for its price to start coming down. In fact, it can now be picked up for under £300.
The HX9V is still almost £50 more expensive than the HX7V, which is perfectly justified since the HX9V has a 16x zoom (compared with 10x for the HX7V), a wide-angle setting starting at 24 mm and better-quality sound in video mode.
