First impressions of the Nokia Lumia 800 in the press have generally been pretty positive, leaving the firm confident that it's finally back on track.  Management figures are so happy, in fact, that they're now willing to give the competition a roasting!

In an interview with Pocket-lint, Niels Munksgaard, the company's director of sales and marketing didn't hold back when describing the extent of the firm's ambitions.

His biggest criticisms were reserved for Apple on the one hand Google and Android on the other.  It's fair to say he has a rather particular view of the market.  According to Munksgaard, young people are "fed up with the iPhone."  All you need to do to find out why is look at the sales figures.  Study them closely and you'll learn, apparently, that kids these days don't want the same phone as everybody else.

He slams Android for a different reason, saying that "the complexity of Android and the lack of security" is what puts people off.

For Nokia, all these unsatisfied customers making do with either iOS or Android have finally found an answer to their prayers in the shape of Windows Phone, an innovative new system that is at the very cutting edge.  Nothing more, nothing less ...
