Sennheiser renews its HD 5** range

Although Sennheiser is of course very much in the public eye as a headphones manufacturer (the part of the iceberg you can see), we almost missed the latest updates to its existing HD 5** range.

This was partly because the headphones were held up in customs during IFA! Sennheiser has updated one of the jewels in its HD range, namely the HD 5** range.

Made up of the HD 515s, HD 555s and HD 595s, this series includes the three sets of Sennheiser headphones that remain accessible in terms of pricing, and above all usable without extensive audio set up (as is the case with the HD 650s for example).


Autumn 2010, then, sees the appearance of three new sets, the HD 518s, HD 558s and HD 598s, which are apparently the same (or almost) in terms of audio, but with a new look.
