A Samsung press release has revealed that the manufacturer is ready to start mass-producing OLED screens.
That doesn't mean that the production lines are rolling, just that they're ready. There's a big difference, and this is not the first time that we've seen 14'' and 31'' OLED prototypes.
What is new, though, is the appearance of a new 40'' model on a separate Samsung site.
As you can see, the 31'' and 40'' models will be Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), with a predicted contrast ratio of 1 000 000:1, and both will manage to be less than a centimetre thick.
