Samsung may be launching the Galaxy Note 2 this coming September, a full month earlier than previously rumoured. Which just happens to be around the time when the new iPhone is expected to hit the market...

Hoping to bypass a summer release, Samsung appears to have pushed forward the launch of the successor to its hybrid smartphone/tablet, the Galaxy Note, as revealed by our fellow chroniclers at GSM Arena. This new incarnation of the Korean manufacturer's XXL smartphone (or XXS tablet?) is expected to have an unbreakable screen and a design similar to the Galaxy S3.
A September release would bring the device to market just in time to steal a bit of Apple's thunder... As well as give the first Note a couple months more to enjoy its success (just over 7 million copies have been sold over the past months).
