With the release of mobiles running Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7 OS rapidly approaching, the web is awash with rumours of upcoming handsets. According to some sources, Samsung's first WinPho 7 phone could be the Cetus (SGH-i917).

Samsung, LG and HTC are all likely to be among the first manufacturers to market handsets running on Windows Phone 7.

The Cetus is rumoured to have a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, as well as a 5-Megapixel camera and a second camera on the front for video calls. It's also said to have all the connectivity options you'd expect from this type of handset, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and an integrated GPS chip.

There's no information on price or availability yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we hear more.
