A small black & white single function printer, the Dell 1130n will cost you just under £100 and is identical to the 1130 (on sale at £65) except for its networking capability and additional memory (64 MB instead of 8 MB). This makes the 1130n better adapted to use in an environment where it's shared between several people. The networking feature will cost you £30 or so however.

We invite you to read our Dell 1130 review for further details.

PROS

  • Price
  • Ultra-compact and light
  • Fairly quiet
  • 2 cartridge capacities (standard and high capacity)

CONS

  • No additional functions (copier, scanner, fax)
  • No double sided
  • No wi-fi
  • No draft mode

CONCLUSION 3/5

A model that will suit you very well if you're looking for an ultra-compact, basic model that's simple to use, with network capability. It's fast and does the minimum well.
