4 professional multifunction printers join our ink jet multifunction survey. ''Professional'', because most have a built-in fax, document loader, networking, Wi-Fi and also emphasize speed as one of their main selling points. We can however divide them into two lots. The Canon MX330, Epson SX600FW and HP OfficeJet 6500 are all around the same price and target those looking for a document printer. Our tests do nevertheless show some significant differences, both in terms of speeds, multifunction tasking and cost per page. Best to look into this a little before you buy!
The Canon Pixma MP980 is in a separate category. With its six separate cartridges, it’s aimed at those who prioritise photo prints.
