Inkjet printing has come a long way over the last few years, so we thought it was about time to see just how a new-generation inkjet printer holds up against a laser model. Find out which type of technology reigns victorious in our five-star printer duel!

The problem in trying to compare these two different types of technology is that inkjet and laser printers aren't tested using the same lifespan standards. We therefore had to re-test the Lexmark using the laser standard in order to be able to compare the two.

We used the Brother MFC-9320CW all-in-one colour laser printer and the Lexmark Platinum Pro 905 multifunction inkjet to compare print speeds, connected services, print quality, scanner quality, photocopying, cost per page, power consumption and noise!
