Announced in August, the new pairs of active Panasonic 3D glasses have appeared in stores for £90. On the programme: increased brightness, comfort (26 to 27 grammes) and increased battery life.

Note, the model numbers for the new glasses are very similar to those for the old ones and this means that they are sometimes poorly referenced in stores. You therefore need to verify this before purchase.
To recap, Panasonic has broken a new lightness record with these active 3D glasses. The TY-EW3D3xs weigh just 26 and 27 grammes on the scales depending on the model: large (TY-EW3D3L), medium (TY-EW3D3M) or small (TY-EW3D3S).
Rapid recharging is also one of the strong points on this new model. It only takes two minutes to recharge for a battery life of three hours and thirty minutes for twenty-five hours of usage.
The first users are starting to make themselves known on the forums. Some like the lightness and the virtual lack of sweep and the image is therefore brighter and less tiring on the eyes.
