This year's Paris Games Week is being held from 21 to 25 October. On the Ubisoft stand, eager gamers can try out the firm's upcoming titles on the Panasonic TH-152UX1, a 152-inch plasma screen with 4096 x 2160 pixels—that's over 8 million pixels!
We've actually already tried out this model for ourselves, as it was presented to us when we visited Panasonic's headquarters in Japan. All of the visiting journalists agreed that the 3D effects were more marked and more impressive than anything they'd seen at the cinema. For example, things seemed to really jump off the screen and the impression of depth was much more visible. Needless to say then, picture quality is excellent!
Unfortunately, we doubt that many people will actually be able to buy this display, as it'll set you back no less than $500,000—that's half a million dollars!
