Only in Tokyo, Part 14: So that's where all-in-one PCs started!

We've recently had a glut of all-in-one computers, PCs styled like iMacs with all of the components (keyboard and mouse aside) built into the screen. But what's the reason for this sudden trend?
Apart from the iMac, perhaps, we haven't really seen these models take off in Europe, especially given that they use the same components as entry-level laptops. However, a lot of analysts are backing the sector, predicting rapid growth in the next few years.
And they are flying off the shelves in Tokyo. All-in-one PCs take pride of place in this store, and have as much space as ordinary desktop computers.
But just because they're big in Japan doesn't necessarily mean they're going to take off in Europe ... or does it?
