Only in Tokyo,Part 12: the green Sony notebook, 8 GB RAM

At the end of one aisle, we came across a Sony Vaio Y Series notebook, designed for the youth market, cheap. Inside there was 8 GB of RAM!

In Tokyo it was going for £550. To recap, at 1.8 kilos, this a very light machine, with a 9-hour battery life. It has quite a nice look about it with its magnesium alloy design.

You can pick up a Y Seris in the UK too. The VPC-Y11M1E runs on Windows 7 Home Premium with 4 GB of RAM.

Note however the low Windows index of 3.4, probably due to the low-end Intel graphics solution (Intel 4500MHD).
